Paid Modeling Opportunities

Paid modeling opportunities may be available based on client project requirements and in-house photography demands. If you are interested in submitting your profile to be considered for a future modeling opportunity, please fill out the form below.

Modeling Opportunities may include the following:

  • Commercial photo shoots (in studio or on location)
  • Product promotions (magazines, billboards, other print ads)
  • Fashion & runway shoots
  • Artistic shoots (print art, photography books, stock photography)
  • Commercial stock photography
  • Lighting & equipment test photo shoots

What to Expect

Profiles submitted for paid modeling photo shoots are retained on file for a period of 6 months. If you desire to keep your profile active in our records, you may resubmit your information every 6 months. We will typically contact you to see if you are interested a minimum of 2-4 weeks before a scheduled paid photo shoot date. Sometimes clients require last minute projects, and we’re scurrying around trying to find willing models at the last minute; we try to keep these cases on the exceptional side.

Since you’re looking for paid modeling opportunities, be sure to also check out some internal modeling photo shoot projects we’re working on. If you are interested, you can submit a separate online application to be considered to take part in one of them. If you are accepted, after the shoot, we’ll pay you $60 cash or give you $100 credit toward ordering professional prints from us of the shoot. These photo book shoots can be great experience for you and can add to your portfolio to help you obtain more commercial shoots.

Some fine print about our paid modeling gigs

If you are chosen for a paid modeling opportunity, you will enter into an independent contractor relationship with Sozo Photo Studio and our parent company, Sozo Firm Inc. Sozo Photo Studio is a commercial photography studio; we are not a modeling agency, nor do we connect models with third party modeling opportunities. Commercial clients outsource photography projects to us, and we, in turn, by the request of our clients, provide models which are independent contractors and paid directly by us. Other paid photoshoot opportunities are internal projects such as commercial stock photography shoots, creative art for printed photography books we are developing, and experimental shoots to try out new equipment or stylistic shots.

If you take part as an independent contractor in a paid modeling gig offered by Sozo Photo Studio, we cannot guarantee future paid modeling opportunities; however, for exceptional models, we may consider entering into a part time modeling job situation if your modeling services are required on a continuing basis or, if the work exists, even a full time modeling job. It’s best to keep your expectations realistic and treat each paid modeling gig as a one time paid modeling work which has the potential to produce more of the same based on third party demand as well as your own skills. Enter each shoot with the goal to do better than the last one, and use each shoot to improve your own abilities while further developing your modeling portfolio.
