Graceful Beauty Photo Book Shoot
Have your picture(s) included in a Graceful Beauty Photo Book which we’re developing. Photo shoot will be taken at your location of choice within Baltimore & Harford counties, Maryland and within York & Lancaster counties, Pennsylvania. This is a great opportunity for those living in Bel Air, Forest Hill and Fallston, Maryland; as well as for those living in Red Lion, Hanover, New Freedom, and York, Pennsylvania.
Who Is Eligible
Aspiring female models ages 8-16. Acting/modeling/drama experience & training is preferred but not required.
Physique & Appearance
Models must be graceful, confident, and feminine in poise & appearance. Makeup may be used for the shoot but should be kept to a minimum.
What to Wear
Regular Shoot: A sundress (lightweight, sleeveless summer dress). If a bra is worn, it should be strapless and not visible near the shoulders or in the back. Shoes should be sandals or other summer shoes that go well with the particular sundress. Changes into alternate sundresses are permitted.
Additional Shoot: Other clothing will be examined on an outfit by outfit basis for use in any additional shoots after the regular shoot.
Where the Shoot Will Take Place
This is a non-studio photo shoot which will take place at your location of choice, preferably within Baltimore & Harford counties, Maryland; and within York & Lancaster counties, Pennsylvania. If you desire to have the shoot take place at a home or business location, we will provide the property release form which the property owner will need to sign. The shoot can take place outside, in your home, or at any other location of your choice.
Photo Shoot Duration
Plan for a shoot of approximately 3 hours duration.
Payment
We will pay you $60 cash or give you $100 credit toward ordering professional prints from us of the shoot. We will also select 5 of the best pictures from the shoot and provide them to you as digital files (web/email resolution) for your personal use.
Forms
We will provide you with a minor model release form, to be signed by a parent/legal guardian, and, if applicable, a property release form, to be signed by the property owner where the shoot takes place.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Can I use the $100 credit to purchase the photo book?
Answer: Due to our not knowing how long this particular project will last, when the photo book will be completed, and which models will be included, we regret that the $100 credit cannot be applied to the purchase of the photo book.
Question: Will every model you photograph have their pictures included in the photo book?
Answer: No. We will be selective and choose the best pictures from dozens of shoots. Inevitably, some models who were included in the shoots will not have their pictures included in the published book.
Question: Will you let me know if my daughter’s pictures are included in the photo book and when the book is published?
Answer: Yes, upon the book’s publication, we will contact each model who had pictures included in the book.
Question: How much will the book sell for?
Answer: It’s really difficult for us to know until we are finalizing the book’s pages. The price will depend on the quality of the book’s binding, the printing & finish of the pages, and the number of pages.
Question: Who can be present at the shoot?
Answer: The model’s parent(s)/legal guardian may decide who is present. In our experience, the fewer people present, the fewer distractions during the shoot, and the more usable pictures which we are able to obtain.
Question: If we choose the $100 credit toward purchasing professional prints, can we spend extra to buy additional prints?
Answer: Yes, you may purchase as many prints from your daughter’s shoot as you would like.

Fine Print
By participating in the shoot, you permit us to take both photographs as well as digital video of your daughter/granddaughter. A minor model release form will be signed by the parent/legal guardian which then permits us to use the photographs/video within our portfolios, websites, advertising, publishing as well as within videos, stock photographs, and for other commercial purposes. We retain the full copyrights for all digital files including photographs and video.
